About Scholastic . . .
In the beginning . . . Born in April of 1968, Scholastic Enterprises (SE) was based in Elgin, Illinois. In 1982, SE moved to Bloomingdale, Illinois. Until then our main focus had been supplying vinyl products (binders, folders, etc.) to the educational community and travel industry. As customers started asking for other types of promotional products, we started fulfilling those requests.
In the early 1980's, SE's focus gradually changed to providing promotional products for financial institutions, large corporations, and associations. Over the years, our customers have included Amoco, Household Bank, Kerr McGee, Lucent, Mobil, Motorola, NASA, Pactiv, Westinghouse, College of DuPage, DePaul University, Southern Illinois University, and several US government agencies.
